Samos Surgical Risk Insurance is Canada’s first insurance solution designed specifically to protect Canadians against the risk of accidental death during surgery.
It works similar to Life Insurance in the sense that if the policy holder dies during a covered procedure, the beneficiary would receive up to CAD $200,000.
Hundreds of covered procedures. See full list here.
Quick & easy
No medical exams. Apply in 5 minutes and get approved instantly.
Most of our premiums cost less than CAD $100.
Most insurers will not cover a person if they have a surgical procedure coming up. Samos SRI covers 85% of all elective procedures.
We understand that not everyone might have a financial plan and be able to get insurance before a surgery comes up. We’ve designed Samos SRI so that Canadians can get coverage when they need it most.
Medical procedures have evolved significantly throughout time but they’re still not 100% risk free. SRI was designed to bring peace-of-mind to this moment, so you can focus on recovery and the road ahead.
